A very heavy, hand thrown vase has been covered in a thick blue-green glaze with visual texture. A flat, very shallow cut foot and been partially glazed and ground. The base is glazed in a brown color. There is the Rookwood mark on the base. Under the backward letters with flames are the Roman numerals XV. There is also an old Marshall Field and Co. paper label with the original price of 30.00

13 ½” (34.3 cm) tall x 9 ½” (24.1 cm) diameter. Weighs 9 lbs 4.8 oz (4215 g)
