Generously sized, probably originally made to serve the very same birds as pictured. We see this piece as a gorgeous display item for whenever not in use, either hung on a wall or as a table centerpiece styled with gourds and such! There is a tight stable hairline crack and edge wear to the gold gilding, consistent with age and use of the piece.
