Top, front, & sides inlaid with various mixed woods depicting foliate scrolls, florals, fruits, shells, & cherubic decoration. This cabinet features exquisite ormolou mounts and trim throughout. The interior has been completely upholstered in a Stunning Ivory Damask with Twisted Gimp. Minor discoloration on the top drawer. This piece was purchased from a shop in Sorrento Italy that specializes in fine inlaid cabinetwork, it has been in business since 1856! Cuomo is globally regarded by those who desire exclusive art in wood. Excellent piece for a foyer or entryway. Its shallow depth makes it a superior candidate for a hallway!
