It's a duck! He's a pitcher! His mouth is the spout and the opening on his back is sort of surrounded with a design that looks like a nest. The inside is glazed and it's clean. He's very cute! He is an older piece of majolica, not a reproduction. I really don't know if this is European or American - it may be French. less
