The quality is exceptional! Given to an American executive by a Japanese executive in an official US visit.
In the original wrapping and box with all the original Japanese outer labels still attached, the set is in perfect condition.
Both in a charcoal brownish tone. The taller one with a navy background band and small white raised design. The shorter one with a brown reddish band and the same floral design. Each band has a gold stripe on both edges, and the same gold stripe runs along the bottom of each cup.
The inside of each is the usual Asian porcelain white with a blue ring on the interior rim. Even the bottom of each cup is beautifully done with the same blue and white combo.

The taller measures 2 1/2" in diameter and 3 5/8" high.
The shorter measures 2 1/2" in diameter and 3 3/8" high. See less
