Comes from first and limited edition folio of the artist printed in Geneva, Switzerland by Albert Skira in 1940s. Signed in the print at the lower left corner: "Henri Matisse 9/40". Printed on one side. Hand tipped in on a board of heavy paper, mounted on a larger board of heavy paper. "Printed in Switzerland" below the image on the larger board. Excellent condition - minor edge wear on the board, never framed.
