A stunning First Edition period offset lithograph, print, after painting "Le Rêve" (The Dream, 1940) by Henri Matisse. Comes from first and limited edition folio of the artist printed in Geneva, Switzerland by Albert Skira in 1940s. Signed in the print at the lower left corner: "Henri Matisse 9/40". Printed on one side. Hand tipped in on a board of heavy paper, mounted on a larger board of heavy paper. "Printed in Switzerland" below the image on the larger board. Excellent condition - minor edge wear on the board, never framed.
