The oryx gazelle, sometimes mistaken for an antelope, lives in the desert dunes of Namibia. It is the symbol of the country.

It is able to go without water for long periods. Thus its urine is particularly concentrated and its excrements are very dry. It does not sweat and avoids panting, preferring to let its body temperature rise a few degrees when it is very hot.
And it hides as often as possible from the sun, grazing only at night.
