Description: Weathered carved wooden head of a man with beard. This has in the past been a principle or sample for … more Weathered carved wooden head of a man with beard. This has in the past been a principle or sample for a larger piece of sculpture or something similar. This is from a large collection of a Dutchman who bought it from an artist in France in the 1970s. This artist's studio was full of wooden heads, busts and statues. Some religious and some not. The statues are most likely made from around 1900 to about the 50's and 60's. The head has been beautifully weathered over the years. A wonderful item to decorate your living or work space with. less
