It is made from a combination of … more For sale is a wonderful telephone stand and matching chair by Oscar Bach. It is made from a combination of Steel and Bronze. The period is 1920s, but the style is gothic Revival.
It features a heraldic crest with rampant lions and castles, as seen on the flag of Spain in the 15th Century. It also features barley twist elements, lots of scrollwork and roaring lions on the chair.
The cage would have been originally lined in velvet. The chair needs to be reupholstered. The marble shelf is a rich dark burgundy..
