This stunning pair of cube shaped coffee tables or end tables was designed by Kai Kristiansen. Danish designer, Kristiansen, was born in 1929 and around 1948, he enrolled in the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. At the age of 26, he opened his own studio and began to create furniture in what came to be known as Danish Modern. His designs have always been in demand and have stood the test of time.
The size and shape of the end tables would fit in any room, whether it is a living room, bedroom or foyer. Although midcentury modern in design, the sleek appearance will allow them to blend into any decor. I don’t know the exact age of the tables, however, I believe they were produced in the 1950s.
The top is approximately 18.25” square and the cube is 13.5” high. The top has a glass insert and the remaining sides are open. The tables are in excellent preowned condition. I perform research on each item to ensure that my descriptions are as accurate as possible.
The majority of my listings are vintage, and as a result, there are often marks, consistent with age and use. These may include minor surface scratches, nicks or scuffs. I do my best to point out condition issues with the pictures. A viewer can always request more pictures. less
