This beautiful pure white and gold edged banded ribbed vintage **Verbano Laveno porcelain, 1940s Demitasse Espresso Set--Coffee Pot, Creamer, Sugar and Four Demi-Tasse Cups and Saucers. There is a Green Hallmark with Bow, Laurel and Crown, which dates the set to the l940's, Italy.
It is in very good vintage condition with a normal bit of wear from age and use, with no cracks, chips or crazing and no gold leaf loss.

**Some history of ceramics in Laveno Mombello begins in 1856 when Caspani, and Carnelli Revelli founded the JRC Franzosini glassware. In 1883 the company took the name of the Italian Ceramic Society (ICS). In 1885 Revelli left the company and founded the Ceramics Revelli. The period that follows was full of technological innovation and social tensions and the postwar period was marked by the expertise of Laveno workers and The Laveno ceramics reach top quality levels workmanship and thanks to the artistic cutting of cutting-edge production. In 1965, SCI is absorbed by Richard-Ginori. less
