A special round biomorphic opal glass wall sconce / or flush mount designed by koch & lowy for peill & putzler, manufactured in germany, circa 1970s. Sockets: one x e27 standard bulb. (100 w max).- light bulbs are not included. It is possible to install this fixture in all countries (us, uk, europe, asia, australia) this light and the other models of this pendant lamp (different sizes) won the if design award in 1975. The listed price is for one item. Information about peill & putzler: peill + putzler: glashüttenwerk peill und sohn was founded in 1903 in düren, a small town in west germany. Peill merged with putzler (founded in 1869) in 1947 as a glass works and lighting company and became - peill & putzler glashüttenwerke -. The company always worked with important designers as wilhelm wagenfeld, william brown, helmut demary, aloys ferdinand gangkofner, horst tüselmann, and many others. Sold per pair.
