This Henri Matisse rare vintage 1998 lithograph print custom framed iconic Mid Century Modern poster " Ivy in Flower " 1953, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.

Henri Matisse ( 1869 - 1954 ) The French born artist is known for both his sense of color and fluid aesthetic. Matisse is commonly regarded, along with Picasso as one of the most important artists who helped to define and influence radical Contemporary Art of The Twentieth Century. His mastery of the expressive language of color and drawing won him recognition as a leading figure in world Modern Art. The rare out of print framed lithograph print poster measures 24 7/8" W X 32 7/8" H X 1" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern matte eggshell finish royal sky blue wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent " like new " condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " vintage condition consistent with age, light signs of handling and very light minor surface wear in the lower white margin area.
