It features two external drawers, as well as a pull down desk surface and locking secretary compartment with cubby holes and smaller drawers. It is complemented with ball and claw feet as well as brass hardware. Pull out slats support the desk surface when it is in use. Structurally, it is sturdy and tight. Please expect only minimal wear - perhaps a small nick or ding here or there, but nothing significant. It has a nice, even lustered finish throughout.
