- This is a set of 2 original French fashion drawings that we purchased in Paris from a dealer who specializes … more This is a set of 2 original French fashion drawings that we purchased in Paris from a dealer who specializes in original fashion drawings. These date to the 1940s. They feature dress ensembles with layered pleated designs and cinched waistbands.. The dresses flow and "move" and one can sense the fun in wearing such dresses. The drawings are done with dry brush watercolor on light cream tone drawing paper. Note that each drawing has a sketch that highlights a detail. They are in clean excellent condition. Perfect for today's vintage clothing fashionista. As a pair they make great wall decor. Each measures 7.25 x 10 inches and each comes matted in white 16 x 20 inch custom mats ready for standard size frames. You are purchasing a set of 2 matted original French fashion drawings. less
