In 1916 Emerson Electric Offered Their Standard Ceiling Fan In A Chain Hung Version. This Pair Of Standard Downrod Mounted Ceiling Fans Were Customized To Be Hung Using The 1916 Offering Of Chains. The Pair Comes Direct From A Life Long Collectors Collection. The Customization Was Done Many Years Ago But Looks As Though It Was Done Yesterday. The Ceiling Plate Is Cast Brass With Steel Hooks For The Chains. The Plate Attaches To The Ceiling Via A Long Lag Bolt That Is Then Capped Off With A Rounded Nut. The Motor Has A Specially Designed Ring To Adapt The Hanging Of The Chains. The Body Of The Ceiling Fan Motors Are Finished In Brushed Stainless And Polished Brass Blade Have Been Refinished In A Beautiful Mahogany Color. A Very Stunning Pair.
