This beautiful hand-crafted set features a stunning arrangement of unique shells. Each bookend is made of painted wood lined with green felt on the bottom and inside walls and and trimmed out with synthetic boat rigging. This is a substantial set of bookends being both large and weighty. Therefore, they can easily accommodate larger, thicker books. See photos.

A lot of artistry went into the design of this gorgeous set, which is sure to make a dramatic décor statement in any home - coastal or otherwise. It is in excellent vintage condition with only minor, age-appropriate wear and signs of use. You will find some missing pieces and chips on some shells, but this appears to have been a deliberate design choice, as opposed to physical damage. They are in wonderful shape and ready for immediate display. See less
