Biedermeier reverse glass painting with silhouette portrait of a lady in a lush robe. This fine and decorative work, is kept almost monochrome. Only the scarf and headdress are polychrome in gold and blue. It is an interesting reflection of the fashion of the time and, moreover, extremely decorative, as the reduced style of the work can be combined with many styles of furnishings.
The condition is somewhat worn, the white background color is flaking slightly, the frame has a break and from behind it is fixed only with tape. It has been deliberately left in its original condition.
