The piece … more This Vintage Chinese Han Dynasty Style Cast & Embossed Bronze Hu Vase is Heavy, Historic, Decorative and Functional. The piece is made of cast bronze (possibly the low wax technique) and has a classic Chinese Hu, four-sided shape on a square base. There is a decorative, textured & embossed diamond pattern on four sides and an embossed face on two sides. Note: Both faces use to have a loop & ring suspended from the bottom. (See Photos) There are scratches, oxidation and wear from use and/or age, but no breaks, cracks, holes, loose parts or repairs. Note: The loop is missing form one of the embossed faces and the rings are missing form both. (See Photos). The heavy vase measures approximately: 8.75" Tall x 5.5" Wide (Face to Face) x 5" Deep" (Front to Back). The top measures approximately: 2.75" Wide x 2.75" Deep. The bottom measures approximately: 2.5" Wide x 2.75" Deep. The Age of this Chinese Hu Vase has not been determined, hence it has not been listed as an Antique. However, the piece is in Great Found and Original Condition. less
