The solid oak top is … moreThis splendid writing desk is in 100% original, vintage condition and has aged to perfection! The solid oak top is in remarkably excellent condition showing only minor surface scratches but no stains, gouges or other damage whatsoever. The chrome is also in fantastic condition showing only minor signs of light tarnishing but no pitting, rust or peeling at all. All six drawers open and close with ease. The original key and lock function on the left side of the desk however, the locking mechanism for the right-side drawers is in need of repair (we can have this repair made if desired at cost). There are three left facing storage drawers and two are right facing, one of which is a file drawer. A favorite design by lovers of Tord Bjorklund.
