The walnut frames, ebonized in a rich jet-black stain, are in excellent original condition showing only minor nicks and one chip on one of the arms (which can be seen in the photos provided). The caning is also in fabulous original condition showing no tears, stains or other damage whatsoever. The seats have recently been re-upholstered in a stylish light grey velvet very similar to the original fabric. This luxurious set of dining chairs are ultra-comfortable, structurally sound and ready for decades more of use.
