The solid teak frame has been professionally refinished, re-stained and brought back to it's original luster showing no gouges, stains, or scratches whatsoever and the wood grain is absolutely mesmerizing in natural light. The seat, redone in a fabulous knit fabric in a myriad of light-colored blues, is in showroom condition showing no stains, rips or odors whatsoever. Originally this chair was a recliner that had fixed positions in various angles of recline, however the mechanism that allowed the chair to lock in the various reclining angles was too severely damaged to be saved and now the chair reclines slightly (approximately three inches).
