The two part display cabinet is constructed … Read more A coveted and exceptionally well-built design by Peter Lovig Nielsen for Dansk Designs. The two part display cabinet is constructed from teak. The top bookcase portion has eleven adjustable shelves providing ample storage space for books and/or decorative items. Additionally, there is a drop down bar cabinet portion of the bookcase which is perfect for storing barware and mixing drinks. As pictured in this portion of the cabinet, there are two storage cubby trays that are beautifully constructed from teak, with concave faces and joined together with dovetail joinery. The buffet portion of the cabinet has a single drawer that is left facing. Behind this door is a single adjustable shelf allowing for more hidden storage. The right facing side of the cabinet has four drawers that are constructed from ash and tied together to the teak drawer faces with dovetail joinery. The top drawer includes two dividers perfect for silverware storage, remote controls or countless other items. The teak wood is perfectly contrasted with artisan brass pulls and hinges with the perfect patina. The cabinet is set on tapered legs with exceptional finger joint detailing. The back is finished in teak as well, which affords the opportunity to use this a room / space divider if desired. With attention to all the details, this cabinet is a must have for your space. The teak composition is in very good shape … moreThis exquisite credenza and topper set is in 100% original, vintage condition! The teak composition is in very good shape showing some scratches on the top (which can be seen in the photos provided). However there are no gouges, stains or other signs of damage whatsoever and the teak wood grain is absolutely gorgeous in natural light. All four drawers as well as the single door open and close with ease and the single shelf is adjustable. The topper too is also in fabulous condition and shows only one small area of discoloration on the drop-down desk top (which can be seen in the photos provided). The drop-down door opens and closes with ease and makes this piece all the more versatile. All but two of the 10 shelves in the topper are adjustable. This expertly-designed and crafted case piece is highly functional, structurally sound and ready for decades more of use.
