A minimal, functional and an unassuming statement piece that is a hallmark design by Harry Bertoia for Knoll Associates. Originally designed in 1952.
Constructed from slatted oak (now perfectly distressed and aged) resting on a patian'd welded steel frame. This design was Bertoia’s first product for Knoll, who granted him creative liberties when he joined the company’s studio in 1950.

The solid oak slats show all kinds of wear including scratches, nicks and weathering. The metal frames too are in a perfect patina and show some rust and tarnishing.
