An Audemair's Oculist's Trial Lens case set made by Spencer Optical Co. dated 1892. Documentations from Dr. Alfred R. Strouse and Snyder M.D. Prescription book showing exam results.
Contains Spencer's trial/measuring frames. Over 230 lens and sample eyeglass. Included is a 4th quartile 19th century Geogre Tiemann pupillometer ma (American surgical instrument manufacturer). Wood case with key. Assorted documents and pamphlets including eye charts. Audemair's was a well-known bran of opera glasses.
Note: Sold as found. Some outer frames and lens holders damaged.
