Framed original Lithograph by Gallerie Maeght of Marc Chagall's "Green Acrobat". This litho. is often referred to as the "Yellow Background". Unsigned and unnumbered. Printed in 1969. It is framed underglass. The condition is very good to excellent. It has not been examined out of the frame. It has a Tyringham Galleries, Tyringham, MA label on the back. The Picture showing this label also shows where the backing paper was torn (it looks like a water stain but it is only the torn paper).
The wood frame measures 23.5" w x 32" h. The litho. measures 22.5" x 30.5". Reference #56 in "Chagall's Posters: A Cataloque Raisone, Sorliere, 1975".
We will ship with the glass in place and well bubble wrapped. We can remove the litho from the frame at the buyers request and ship rolled in a tube or flat on hard board at no additional shipping cost. less
