Very special French landscape oil on pressed wood board painting by Vincent Mazzocchini (France, 20th Century).
An interesting composition on rather unusual media. The landscape represents an old vaulted bridge from the Middle Ages in France (likely in the South of France) with very autumnal colors. Oil on pressed wood, the painter has used the particular texture of this wooden panel in the rendering of his landscape. Signed on the bottom left corner: Vincent Mazzocchini.
Framed with elegantly carved and varnished wood frame with an off-white matte and glass protection.
