Description: A milk glass pendant lamp by Louis Kalff for Philips. 3 Pleated milk glass shades hanging on a teak wooden … more A milk glass pendant lamp by Louis Kalff for Philips. 3 Pleated milk glass shades hanging on a teak wooden boomerang shaped divider. The length from the ceiling is about 76 cm and then the shades are about 20 cm ( approx. 96 cm). The weight is approx. 3 kilos. Louis Christiaan Kalff (Amsterdam 1897 – Waalre 1976) was a Dutch graphic designer. In 1925, Louis Kalff started working at the advertising department of Philips in Eindhoven. After the Second World War Kalff was actively involved in Industrial Design at Philips. After his retirement in 1960, Louis Kalff remained at Philips as a consultant and architect. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
