Pino Daeni, born Giuseppe Dangelico Daeni in Bari, Italy in 1939, he attended the Art Institute of Bari, then Milan's Academy of Brera. After school, he began his career as a book illustrator, first in Italy, then moving his family to New York where his career as an illustrator flourished.

In late 1999 he began his fine art career, creating impressionistic oil paintings, focusing on portraits of women and nostalgic mother/child scenes.

He enjoyed success with his fine art career and was represented by galleries in Scottsdale, Arizona, Hilton Head Island, SC and Long Island, NY. less
