Bold black and white graphic depiction of the African folktale of trickster spider Ananse (Anansi) catching the python Onini by trappingi him in a web on a tree branch.

Surrounded by a 3" gray matting, with a 1.75"-2" border around the art, and in a substantial silvery metal frame

Signed in pencil on lower right, with title and numbering (5/20) in the lower left and center, respectively. We were unable to determine the artist.

We have another print of same size and framing, with a similar subject matter among our listings.

The label is no longer on the reverse, howevere we are adding an image of the label from the other Ananse work in our possession.

Framed work is 19" by 22.75" by .75"
