Description: An original watercolor design for a corner border by Dorothie Coombes, British artist and designer during the early 20th century, … more An original watercolor design for a corner border by Dorothie Coombes, British artist and designer during the early 20th century, 10 5/8" x 10 5/8", this work is from a portfolio of designs by the artist, all other designs were dated 1914-1915, this design, however is undated. The colors are strikingly bold and clear, the image is in very good condition for the age. The work is matted with Antique White Museum matboard and museum backing. It is unframed.
This is a fabulous example of British Arts and Craft style in industrial design. less
