The molded pair of gray metal bookends are in the shape of trumpeting elephants. They have a bronze patina over gray metal. They had old green felt on the bases. One still has remnants.

They have molded marks to the left of the tail near the base. The marks read NUART CREATIONS around a copyright mark with NY inside.

MEASUREMENTS

8 ½” (21.6 cm) tall x 5 ½” (14.0 cm) wide x 5” (12.7 cm) long. Weighs 5 lbs 0.4 oz (2280 g)

CONDITION

There are no cracks, dents, or breaks. The elephant missing the felt has about four small patina losses. The other elephant has two larger-size losses. One is on the throat, and one is on the back near an ear.

A nice large sized pair of bookends in a wonderfully sculpted look of elephants that will be useful in holding up books. less
