I am I only noticed one spot on the wood molding. They have been painted on one side overtime but I think that the original raw wood finish really captivates Spanish Revival in every way and you could have them stripped down. less

These doors are actually very heavy and the wood is very thick. I can imagine these doors being the front entryway to a home located outside the property. They would look wonderful is garden gates or as interior French doors. Originally somebody had added a solid panel behind them to give the look of solid doors but I think it makes these doors more prominent as architectural elements rather than solid doors. These doors were salvaged out of a 1920 Spanish style home that was adorned with beautiful Spanish elements throughout the entirety of the house. less
