- Pair of large figural lamps made by Universal Statuary in Chicago and signed and dated 1959. Each lamp has a … more Pair of large figural lamps made by Universal Statuary in Chicago and signed and dated 1959. Each lamp has a different pose of a lady from head to toe who is pouring water from a jug which cascades down the lamp base. The lady figures are in a cream-color finish with subtle variations of shading with light gold highlights overall. They are cast in plaster/resin material which is very hard, durable and heavy (each lamp weighs about 14 pounds) and tall (37 inches from metal base to top of harp). less
