It was likely created as … Read more Very interesting European Renaissance Revival plaster bust from the late 19th or early 20th century. It was likely created as a museum replica or souvenir at that time. It depicts a renaissance era woman with her long hair wrapped up on her head. There's a very tranquil and serene feeling about her. The bust is made of painted plaster in ivory and chocolate brown tones with an overall antiqued finish. There's chipping and cracking of the paint throughout giving it an awesome rustic antique charm. There are no chips in the plaster- just the paint.
