-Large Manuel Carbonell Sculpture "Pygmalion and Galatea" 50" High, Lovers Couple Kiss Male Female Nude Torso Expressionist Mid-Century Modern Art Brutalist eames era
-Large-scale rendition of MANUEL CARBONELL (1918-2011; Cuban) expressionist sculpture titled "Pygmalion and Galatea", circa 1960s. Plaster with stone effect finish; raw brutalist style lower portion. Not apparently signed or marked. Very heavy; weighs roughly 90 lbs.
-Overall good vintage condition with surface wear (scratches, scuffs, and marks). Some imperfections that are inherent to the nature and making of the piece. There appears to be a crack along the lower portion on the back side (see photo #8) -- possible sign of previous repair. Restoration has not been attempted by us.
