Chinese Qing Dynasty chest with drawers. Accentuated raised panels with scalloped edges make up all the front and side panels. Adorned with red lacquer decorated with regional images gold painted. The front panels have decorated borders highlighted with Abalone shell fragments mixed into the lacquer. The chest has two lower drawers on the bottom row and larger upper compartment that opens from the top. Very nice patina to the red lacquer and paint work. Fujian China 1900
Side table, End table, Storage chest, blanket chest, lamp table are some of the many uses.
