Description: These are very finely painted on 1.75" by 3" Slightly convex glass in original 6.25" x 7.5" Gilt wood Frames. … more These are very finely painted on 1.75" by 3" Slightly convex glass in original 6.25" x 7.5" Gilt wood Frames. Upon closer inspection, there is going on in each of these paintings. These paintings have been companions for what could be approaching two hundred years.

One Painting is representing the Lucano Bridge near Rome, on the Aniene river and the Mausoleum of Plautii family. It remains there today and has been there for nearly 2 thousand years.

The other is of what appears to be a joyful moment of dancing among the Italian working class in the mid 1800's. It leaves so much to the imagination and really is a treasure! less
