DETAILS
Housed within a black lacquer, easel frame with silver overlay, this antique beveled mirror is a lovely dresser accessory. The repousse overlay displays a monogrammed shield on the crest, surrounded by flowers and flanked by birds; with putti and foliage along the sides and a female mask, center bottom. It is a great Victorian antique and rare find.

Frederick Brasted (London, England, reg. mark 1862)
MARKS
Hallmarked with FB (maker's mark), leopard (London mark), Queen Victoria profile (duty mark), lion (sterling standard mark) and L (date letter for 1886).
