- This is such a beautiful chandelier, salvaged out of a Spanish Mediterranean $13 million dollar estate formerly owned by the … more This is such a beautiful chandelier, salvaged out of a Spanish Mediterranean $13 million dollar estate formerly owned by the famous poet/songwriter Rod McKuen. Looking up at the chandelier you’ll notice something that really makes this chandelier stand apart from the rest. Not only is the chandelier completely candle lit, but the many crystals that hang are baccarat style crystals. One of the main points of sale for this incredible home was in fact this chandelier that sat in the middle of the main entertainment room and has never seen wiring for electricity which leads me to believe that this piece is very old. I have actually included a photo in the listing of the chandelier in its old home. After looking into it, I was informed that this chandelier is worth roughly $38-$42,000 and when you see it in person you will see why. A picture will not do this chandelier justice. I believe the light is Out if France or Italy but I can not be sure of this. an important note is that a piece of decorative iron at the very top of the chandelier has broken off as shown in pictures and should be re-welded. I believe it would be a easy fix, and even if you decided to leave the piece off it is not incredibly noticeable to the eye. less
