Knud Edsberg debuted with a portrait at the Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition and later exhibited every year at National Art in Charlottenborg.

The dimensions given include a beautiful and exclusive gilded wooden frame.
The painting is in good condition with slight signs of wear.

Knud Edsberg also painted similar portraits, including Deputy Mayor Knud Nielsen, Frederiksberg and Minister of Trade Halfdan Henriksen.
