Our Windsor chairs have a high back with long bars or vertical stems maintained in the seat. The base consists of four tilted feet tilted and connected by crosspieces.
Although there are several hypotheses as to the origin of the Windsor style, the general consensus is that it was developed in the Wycombe region in England, taking its name from the city of Windsor in this same region. It was introduced to North America by Patrick Gordon, the Governor of Pennsylvania in 1726. A timeless classic.
Seat height: 47 cm.
