This is a one of a kind original oil painting by San Diego artist, Julia San Roman. Its dimensions are 60"x40" It is unframed. A certificate of authenticity will follow delivery.
This is an abstract oil painting in which the artist has created a large cloud in the center of the canvas. Rays of light shoot up from the clouds to the top of the canvas. At the bottom is a solid layer of gold.
In these celestial scenes, light is in constant struggle with the clouds for room in the sky. The red and yellow light beams explode through the grey amorphous masses, leaving a full spectrum of color in their wake. As the light vanquishes the dark, a feeling of optimism swells inside each of San Román’s paintings. less
