This is a one of a kind original painting by San Diego artist, Julia San Roman. It is oil on canvas and its dimensions are 30" x 40". It is unframed. A certificate of authenticity will follow delivery.
This is a figurative surrealist work where San Roman has depicted a nude figure emerging holding a bird in one hand against a background of colored shapes and clouds.
In these celestial scenes, light is in constant struggle with the clouds for room in the sky. The red and yellow light beams explode through the grey amorphous masses, leaving a full spectrum of color in their wake. As the light vanquishes the dark, a feeling of optimism swells inside each of San Román’s paintings. less
