Made of solid elm and mixed woods the desk has a large rectangular top set over four drawers, the outer two are lockable and have an unusual flat key.

The drawers are finished with beautiful brass butterfly handles and to the base is a removable slatted under-tier which is in two sections.

The table has a lacquered and polished finish.

This piece is in solid structural condition with minor marks and faint scratches to the top.

The right hand drawer front has been repaired at some point, having been broken away and glued back into place, the top of the drawer has warped slightly, as shown.

Generally in good condition with some signs of age and use.
