19th Century mahogany writing table, featuring a shaped and crossbanded top with a green leather writing surface decorated with blind and gold tooling and a chrisp carved moulded edge. A mahogany lined frieze drawer is found below, with carved detail on the bottom edge which runs along the front, sides and back of the table. There is floral carving at each corner of the table, which is supported on carved cabriole legs and terminating in carved scroll feet and castors.
