The shade is beautifully tailored and is in perfect condition except for one little brick colored stain on the inside. The carved body and feet are perfect as well. The lightbulb is a special one, I will include a pack of them that I obtained at a hardware store. The lightbulb receptacle has pins that retract as you screw the lightbulb in. Its been rewired without the ground part of the plug being used (its just a 2-prong) and was done using 8 ft of black cloth wire which looks very finished.

Typically I try to find pairs/sets of lamps and I create custom shades using antique and vintage laces, trims and fabrics but this one needed none of that and its enough lamp it can stand on its own in a room as a single lamp. It would be a great foyer table lamp or bedroom dresser lamp. So versatile. less
