Before plastic Tupperware became popular, and as refrigerators arrived to the American homes, Hall China Co. was producing refrigerator “leftover” dishes, water pitchers and butter containers in ceramic. The Ohio company developed a single fire production method which allowed for a faster process that also prevents crazing on the glaze.
