The form is heavily influenced by Art Deco which is revealed in the greek key and meander elements. The table is in overall very good condition--it is currently being polished with several coats of hard paste wax. The simplicity of design allows the table to be comfortable in many design aesthetics from 18th century through to mid-century. Its narrow profile allows the table to work well in hallways or a small dining room. less
