Description: Similar to the blown "Kraka" glass bud vases created by Sven Palmqvist for Orrefors, as well as the ones created … more Similar to the blown "Kraka" glass bud vases created by Sven Palmqvist for Orrefors, as well as the ones created by Aimo Okkolin for Rihimaen, and Per Lutken's for Orrefors, as well as those of Steuben, Kosta Bocda, and the work of Asta Stromberg of Strombergshyttan, these are pale, gradient amethyst and blue blown and cased in transparent "sommerso" tall flute bud vases with no discernible maker's mark or etched signatures and are typical of several renowned Swedish glass-blowing masters.

The taller amethyst sommerso vase measures 2 1/4" in width, has a flat base that measures 2" in diameter, a mouth that is 1 1/8", and is 10 1/8" in height.; and, the shorter blue vase measures 3 1/8" at its widest, 2 1/4" in depth, 7 1/8" in height, has a flat round base that measures 2" in diameter, and a mouth that measures 1 1/2" in diameter. less
